Description

Bright apartment in a nice area, at the ground floor of an historical building near the Frari Basilica, knew for the Tintoretto’s paintings, the Canova’s sculptures and the original XVII century pipes organ, and the Scuola Grande di San Rocco that, with its Tintoretto’s painting collection, is know as the Venetian answer to the Cappella Sistina in Rome.
The apartment is composed by a bright entry living room with a double sofa bed, a fully equipped open space kitchen (four gas hobs, microwave, and fridge) with a wooden table for four people, double bedroom with iron beaten bed, bathroom with shower and washing machine. The wide private courtyard, with direct access from the bedroom, is equipped with a beach umbrella and a table for four people; in the middle there is one of the original Venetian well.

Equipment: TV, washing machine, video player, hair dryer, independent heating.

Location

Sestiere San Polo, near the Basilica of Frari and the Scuola Grande di San Rocco. With an easy access from the city terminal, at the same time in about 15 minutes walking is possible to reach the Rialto Bridge or the Accademia Bridge.In the various pubs, café and restaurants nearby it will be possible to taste a typical meal with a good glass of wine at a very reasonable price.

How to get there: Vaporetto boat line 1 or 2, stop San Tomà.

    Al Pozzo is nicely located just behind the Frari church, very convenient for cafes, etc and access to the waterbus. Very nice to have a private courtyard too – everything was very quiet and the apartment had towels, toilet roll, etc provided. Kitchen was a good size. Double bedroom with sofa bed in lounge – easily sleep 3/4. Felt like you were actually a resident of Venice rather than a tourist. Highly recommended.

    Sehr netter Empfang und angenehme Wohnung in sehr guter Lage… optimal für einen Kurzaufenthalt mit Kindern (auch ohne)!
    - Nur das ausziehbare Bett (für den 3. und 4. Benutzer) könnte man erneuern. Als Couch o.k., aber zu Schlafen ungeeignet.

    Los colchones no estaban en buen estado habia humedad en el suelo y paredes no estamos de acuerdo con la calidad, precio

    The apartment location was very central (we stayed in Al Pozzo) and Donatella was very helpful on arranging to take us to the apartment. The photos accurately portrayed the place.
    - The beds weren’t comfortable and the bathroom fan was noisy

    Appartement très bien situé, spacieux et avec un atout charme : son patio avec puit. La prise en charge est vraiment super : Donatella parlait parfaitement français et nous a donné plein d’infos et de conseils.
    - Nos ados ont regretté qu’il n’y ait pas de chaine française à la TV.

    Son apartamentos que están ubicados en distintas zonas de Venecia. Nosotros estuvimos en Al Pozzo y éste apartamento está bien situado, muy cerca de la parada de vaporetto San Toma. Está bien surtido de menaje de cocina, ropa de cama y de baño.
    - Deberían arreglar un poco la entrada al edificio y el patio.

    Esta empresa dispone de diferentes apartamentos, nosotros estubimos en el apartamento “Al Pozzo”. Tiene una situación perfecta para visitar toda Venecia ya que está en el centro. Se llega facilmente a los lugares emblemáticos. Casita muy acojedora y agradable dotada de todo lo necesario para vivir como en tu propia casa. El personal de Venice Homes & Holidays es estupendo, Nunca nos habian hecho un recibimiento tan bueno y con tantos detalles de bienvenida. Sobre todo queremos mencionar a Nicoletta, una gran profesional, su amabilidad y simpatía nos cautivó a todos con su perfecto español y sus mil y una explicaciones para no perdernos en Venecia. Muchas gracias por tu cortesía. Y ! Feliz 2012 !!.
    - Lo único que no nos gustó fué el sofá cama. Como sofá es perfecto pero era muy incomodo dormir en el. El somier y colchón del sofá muy malos.
